Assisted Living

Homestead Village Assisted Living is uniquely designed to offer a comfortable, secure, family atmosphere. Each of our buildings are dedicated to caring for residents who share similar needs. Before moving to Homestead Village, each prospective resident meets our Administrator or Resident Care Coordinator in order to determine how our staff can best provide assistance for their individual needs. Our personal care programs are supported by 24-hour trained staff with the option to be followed by an on-site geriatric nurse practitioner and physician. An assessment, in concert with each resident’s physician, determines the appropriate level of care for the individual. Ongoing evaluations are done by the nursing staff as resident’s needs may change over time.

Homestead Village has 150 Assisted Living private apartments with the following services and amenities:

Basic Assistance:

• Private studio and two room suites
• 24-hour staffing
• Emergency call system
• Three meals served daily in the dining room
• Medication management
• Exercise program
• Housekeeping and flat-linen service
• Beauty / Barber shop on-site
• Activity program with community outings
• Scheduled transportation
• Personal laundry facility (optional laundry service available)

Level One Care (All of Basic Assistance Service, PLUS):

• Assistance with bathing
• Assistance with dressing / grooming
• Personal laundry service
